Active ageing and beyond - CATS Classified’s Life Matters exhibition

Life Matters, an event to be held on May 5 & 6, at Suntec Convention Hall 402, will be the first exhibition in Singapore to promote active ageing as well as educate visitors about the importance of making end-of-life preparations.

Exhibitors will include organisations offering health and fitness products and programmes, hearing aids and other items that can assist the elderly, will-writing services, holiday packages, and more. They also include funeral-service providers and a columbarium.

Visitors can watch various contests at the event too, including a "Golden Voices" singing competition for those 50 years old and above, and a "Fill This Space" coffin art competition where the the coffins will be donated to hospices affiliated with organisations participating in Life Matters.

Visitors may also view a display of photographs taken for a photography competition that asks participants to capture shots which show how life matters to them.

The event will be supported by newspaper advertising features in The Straits Times (4 May), Shin Min Daily News (4 May) and Lianhe Zaobao (5 May).
