LOUD launched with a bang in The New Paper

Loud, a new Tuesday weekly music pullout in The New Paper offering readers music news, views and features across different music genres ranging from K-pop to J-pop to Mando pop as well as the local music and DJ scene launched with a bang on 3 April!

The launch issue of LOUD saw a creative buy-out from SingTel. In addition, the issue also offers many opportunities for tie-ups and promotions with albums and artiste merchandise to be won weekly.

A trade event organized on 20 March offered a sneak peek of the music magazine to advertisers and agencies at the Jalan Besar Stadium.  The event also saw The New Paper unveiling its upcoming initiatives which included a strong focus on sports with the upcoming Euro 2012 and the Olympics and the revamped TNP on Sunday. The attendees were also treated to watch the exciting Malaysian Super League match between Singapore Lions XII and Selangor 'live' that evening.

Dominic Nathan, editor of The New Paper of the event said, “The show-and-tell gave our partners an idea of Loud, our new weekly music pullout, our creative buys for the packed sports schedule with the upcoming Euro 2012 and the Olympics, and our revamped TNP on Sunday.”

On the event programme, he added, “The event itself was an example of a creative solution, done with a TNP twist. We held it the Jalan Besar stadium, with VIP tickets to the Singapore vs Selangor game thrown in as well. We were glad to see a fantastic turnout from our advertisers and trade partners and we look forward to their continued support for the paper.”
