Senior Product Specialist/Product Specialist (Product Innovation and Pricing)
 

The Job 

  • Partake in the conceptualisation, development and enhancement of media or related products 
  • Plan and implement effective marketing campaigns to promote media or related products 
  • Present new product idea to sales and assists them in their selling to customers 
  • Support and coordinate in the execution and delivery of media or related products 
  • Establish and enforce clear and effective pricing policies

Executive, Business Intelligence (Revenue Analysis & Reporting Unit)
 

The role of the Revenue Analysis & Reporting Unit is to 

*   Provide performance tracking and analysis to aid in Integrated Marketing Division Management’s strategy directives for SPH cross-platform media advertising sales and marketing 

*   Provide performance data to equip and enable Integrated Ad Sales teams in sales planning 

Its key responsibilities are: 

*  Extract, track, analyze sales performance data for Integrated Marketing Management team and Sales teams 

*  Maintain integrated database of revenue data to facilitate access to cross-platform ad revenue data 

*  Tap on industry data to support business analysis  

The role of the Business Intelligence Executive will be to: 

*  Work with senior managers and unit head in data assignments 

*  Maintain data feeds and ensure accuracy of data 

*  Provide cross-tabulation of data according to requests 

*  Visualization of data using tools like Excel, Powerpoint, infographics 

Requirements 

*  Degree in Mathematics/Statistics, Business, Business IT or related discipline 

*  Skilful in Excel (eg vLookUp, Pivot Table), Powerpoint 

*  Good sense in numbers with an analytical mind

Partnership Development Manager (SPH Digital)
 

As part of the vision to orchestrate and drive the digital strategy of SPH, the Partnership Development team within SPHDigital seeks out and evaluates potential collaborations with new partners to launch new products for the local and regional markets. We're looking for sharp and energetic individuals who have experience in bringing new products to market, with a keen interest in digital trends and the startup landscape. 

The Job

*  Scan the landscape for potential partners, as well as trends in areas of strategic interest to the company
*  Ideate, research in-depth and evaluate go-to-market strategies with potential partners
*  Define business plans and investments required to execute the solutions in collaboration with other stakeholders
*  Prepare and present regular metric reports that assess and measure performance and value of these collaborations

Requirements

*  A good university degree in Computer Engineering, Business, Marketing or equivalent
*  5+ years relevant working experience in a consultancy, start-up, or equivalent
*  Web-savvy and keen interest in digital trends
*  Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
*  Able to define clear solutions in collaboration with different teams and stakeholders.

Account Executive / Manager (Integrated Media Solutions)
 

The Job: 

You are someone who is excited by challenges and who enjoy negotiation and chasing hard deals.  You are prepared to work hard and fast, and are good at thinking on your feet.  You are able to work well under pressure and do not get weighed down by setbacks, being able to get back quickly on your feet to continue the chase.  

You will work closely with advertising agencies and advertisers to sell integrated media solutions and promote SPH various media platforms, ranging from print, digital, radio and out-of-home media to various businesses.   You will also develop and execute projects aimed at developing new businesses, building business volume and reinforcing our products in the marketplace.

Requirements: 

  •  A degree in Marketing or Business  
  • Minimum 2 years of marketing and sales experience  
  • Effectively bilingual  
  • Ability to conceptualise, strategise, present and execute creative ideas

Manager, Sales Strategy and Planning
 

 The Job:

  • To be the Sales Strategist & Think-tank in support of the revenue goals of the Sales Teams 
  • Craft presentations in response to advertiser briefs which require more complex media solutions both digital only, or cross media platforms including Print, Radio and Out-of-Home  
  • Work with Sales to birth advertiser and sector strategies as well as audience segment strategy 
  • Collaborate with Product team to drive product development for our strategic monetisation pillars e.g. Content Marketing, Video, Chinese Media, Mobile 
  • Leverage on the Business Intelligence and Research team, the Ad Ops team & other internal stakeholders to roll out audience centric insights & analysis to support sales efforts e.g. Travel, Auto, Health, Women, Youth, etc
  • Work with Partnership Development & Marketing Teams to drive Trade Marketing efforts; to ensure that sales strategies & solutions are shared, published & amplified to our trade partners, agencies & advertisers. eg Industry / Sector driven studies & insights, DD Trade / Industry e-newsletters, Agency Show & Tell sessions   

Requirements: 

  •  A media agency person with 6 to 8 years of media planning experience 
  • Good with interpreting data and numbers to tell a compelling story to market SPH's digital assets 
  • Digital experience would be a great asset

UI / UX Designer (Product Development)
 

The Job 

  • Work closely with product owners to conceptualise new product features across web and mobile platforms based on user needs  
  • Be able to develop product UI through practicing UX methodologies like user interviews and usability testing, and confidently articulate rationale to key stakeholders 
  • Work closely with product engineers and be able to wireframe and prototype product designs with functional CSS, HTML, Java coding  

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have/Be: 

  • An eye for quality design and ability to think through product strategy

Requirements: 

  • Diploma or degree in digital design, interaction design or communications (or equivalent work experience) 
  • 2+ years of UX/UI design on a digital product like website or mobile application 
  • Highly proficient with design tools such as Sketch, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, etc. 
  • Experience coding in HTML, CSS and Javascript is required 
  • Experience with prototyping tools such as InVision 
  • Strong communication skills – ability to effectively articulate design decisions & concepts 
  • Must have a portfolio
