More listeners making the switch to Kiss92

It is a great start for Singapore’s first all new radio station targeting the modern and savvy women, as Kiss92 sees strong growth in listeners.

Now heading into its forth month, the radio station operated and managed by SPH UnionWorks has seen enthusiastic support for Kiss92. The station, which targets primarily women aged between 30 – 50 years old, has seen more than 600,000 online streams served via its online web player. Tuning in to Kiss92 via the station’s interactive mobile app available on both iPhone and Android has also hit more than 30,000 downloads. Total page views on kiss92.sg have also crossed the 2-millionth mark.

While official listenership figures from AC Nielsen will only be released at the end of the year, Kiss92 is encouraged by the positive growth and feedback it has received from listeners. The station has provided an interactive listening experience both on air and online, where listeners can send free SMSes to DJs and interact actively on Kiss92’s Facebook page.

Listeners shared that Kiss92 is their new favourite station with All the Great Songs in One Place. The station plays popular hits from the late 1990s and the new millennium. Mothers have also commented that Kiss92 is the only station for them to enjoy with their daughters as the variety of songs appeals to everyone. Men were not excluded as all the great songs on Kiss92 have also made them switch to the station.

Another reason for its strong growth is the exciting prizes to reward listeners who have made the switch, including a $20,000 diamond giveaway for the month of November. Other attractive prizes that appealed to Kiss92’s target audience included pampering spa experiences, hotel staycations, champagne brunches , Estee Lauder lipsticks and even cupcakes were given away on air.  Exclusive giveaways only on Kiss92 also included Business Class tickets to Bali on KLM, an all expense paid private island escape to the Philippines from the Philippines Tourism Board and $600 beauty hampers from Estee Lauder.

Kiss92 continues to be the radio station of choice for advertisers who wish to reach out to the modern women who are also decision makers in the family. They are career driven, or wear many hats, having to take care of their family and kids. They are also always on the lookout for new experiences, which is a key objective in Kiss92’s Girls’ Night Out, a monthly event offering an intimate pampering experience for listeners. Female skewed content on health, beauty, travel, food, marriage and psychological insights continues to educate and empower listeners.
